As a graduating medical student on a military scholarship, I get a lot of questions…
Congratulations, graduating medical students!
Congratulations to everyone who matched in the military match. I understand that the MODS website went down, which I’m sure added a bit of extra anxiety to the day. I hope the match went well for everyone, and that you are all off to exciting new places next year.
Now, I’m going to ask you for something. Please, now that your medical school time is drawing to a close, share your information and insights with me so that I can continue to make this site a useful resource for current students and residents. You can post a comment or send me a message using the contact form on the site.
I value your privacy just like I value my own. Having accurate and realistic information about people, programs, and bases is invaluable to students entering the match, and we all know that no one is going to say anything negative about a program in a way that is going to be publicly linked to their name, forever, on the internet. Because of that, I promise to never put your name on any information that you share with me unless you give me permission. Anything you share will be anonymized – your personal information will never be used on the site without your express written permission.
And with that, happy match day and happy holidays! I hope to hear from some of you soon!
